Saxon Switzerland National Park: Recommended Hotels. Berghotel Bastei - This hotel is located just a few moments from the Bastei Bridge, and is right in the heart of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. We spent a few nights here and were very comfortable, plus being so close to the bridge meant we could visit before or after the big crowds of tourists.
